1000 middle school students will participate in workshop learning in the concentrations of architecture, robotics, culinary arts, and music. Over 30 exhibitors will entertain the students in areas such as the Drone and Game Zones. Dan Barstow with CASIS will present the group with a dynamic keynote address at 9:00am and 1:00pm. High school competitions in the VEX Robotics, KODU Game Lab and the Exhibit STEMentorship categories will also take place on this day.

Over 40 high school teams will compete in the STEM Business Challenge, Living on Mars Model Showcase, JAVA Coding, and the Prudential Math Challenge. A reception, awards ceremony, and recognition program will be held from 5:00 to 7:00pm. Thousands of dollars in cash prizes and scholarships will be granted.
Your RoboAzTechs will be competing in two of the seven competitions. One will be the VEX “Nothing But Net” Robotics competition and the other is the Exhibit/STEMentorship competition. In the VEX Robotics Competition there will be a total of 28 teams competing. Here is the list of teams and the sponsors of the VEX competition are our friends from El Paso STEM Foundation. The other competition is the High School STEMentorship Exhibitor Competition where we will have an exhibit and at the same time we will present a hands on activity to inspire our community middle school students to pursue a STEM+Arts endorsement when they arrive to high school. There will be ten high school with exhibits and the middle school students will choose who the best exhibit is!!! If you scroll down there are some photos of this exhibit.
